Mount Gay Rum Experience

Mount Gay warmly welcomes rum enthusiasts from around the world to discover the rich heritage and time-proven craftsmanship of the world’s oldest rum – Mount Gay Rum est. 1703.

Tours are offered at two (2) locations, our:

– longstanding 300+ years Great House & Distillery [St Lucy]

– centrally located Visitor Centre [Bridgetown]

Without a reservation, you may pop by the Visitor Centre [Bridgetown] any Tuesday through Friday (except public holidays)   to awaken your rum appreciation with an introductory:

  • Signature Tasting [4  Classic Tastings]  US $27.50

Tours run like clockwork, on the half-hour [10:30 AM until 2:30 PM].

However, true ‘rum aficionados’ wishing an immersive, bespoke experience, should book one of the below Specialty Rum Tours. [Reservations are required]

The Distillery is an industrial setting, all guests must comply with the below Health & Safety requirements.

– ENCLOSED SHOES MUST BE WORN: Absolutely NO slippers, flip flops, heels, sandals or open-toed shoes.

– NO SLEEVELESS shirts, tops, vests, dresses or camisoles.

– NO SMOKING: Smoking is prohibited at the Distillery, this includes all vapes & e-cigarettes.
